Dr. Veronica McCann was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia and later attended the University of Georgia, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a one year small animal rotating internship through Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists and Colorado Animal Specialty + Emergency, where she decided to join the team as an emergency veterinarian.
Dr. McCann has a passion for feline and wildlife medicine as well as aiding pets and women affected by abuse via volunteering for hotlines, shelters, and at-need pet transport. Outside of work, Dr. McCann enjoys live music + comedy, trivia nights, binge-watching television + movies, and hot yoga. She lives with her partner, Tyler, and her two beloved kitties, Lila and Jagger.
