Dr. Madeline Fujishiro grew up in Pueblo, Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Colorado State University. She worked in Denver for a few years before going back to school to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University, graduating summa cum laude. Following graduation, she did a one-year small animal rotating internship at the University of Georgia. She then went on to complete a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine at Texas A&M University. She spent several years practicing at a busy specialty hospital in Las Vegas before moving back home to Colorado. She enjoys all aspects of internal medicine and has a special interest in endocrinology, gastroenterology, and feline medicine. In her free time, Dr. Fujishiro likes to hike, read, and nap.
