Dr. Katie Sotos grew up in Potomac, Maryland and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Colgate University in 2015. She attended veterinary school at Tufts University where she obtained her DVM in 2019. Dr. Sotos then completed a 1-year rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital followed by a 3-year Emergency and Critical Care residency at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Her special interests include coagulation, respiratory disease, sepsis, and transfusion medicine.
Dr. Sotos' main interests outside of work include hiking with her chihuahua-pug mix (Adeline), kayaking, building enrichment items for her cat (Spud), traveling, and vegan cooking.
