Dr. Grayson Clay Johnson was born and raised on a cattle farm in Farmville, Virginia. He later obtained a Bachelors in Biology with a focus in Molecular Science from Virginia Tech in 2013 and worked on finishing his research in cytogenetics the following year. Dr. Jonson then attended the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine where he obtained his DVM and research in parasitology in 2018. He then went one to complete a small animal internship in emergency medicine in Colorado Springs. After spending three years in the Springs practicing ER, moved to Salt Lake City for the skiing. He and his partner, Jena, quickly realized they missed the peaks and blue bird sky of Colorado and moved back to Allenspark, Colorado in 2023. He has a special interest in ER-surgery, trauma, and the critically ill patient.
When Dr. Johnson is not at work, you will probably not be able to find him as all his hobbies include exploring the Great Outdoors. He specifically enjoys skiing, ice climbing, peak bagging, rock climbing, fly fishing, and taking his dogs (max and Jedi) and partner on nature walks. He is also surrounded by his two lovely kitties Sweetums and Bun Bun.
