Clarissa Freemyer, a native of northern Colorado, began her career as professional figure skater competing globally for six years after high school. Her travels led her to a profound realization – her true passion lay in veterinary medicine. She pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 2015 at Colorado State University, followed by a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. During her time there, Dr. Freemyer unearthed her true passion in caring for and treating animals with cancer. After a small animal rotating internship at Michigan State University and a one year Medical Oncology internship at North Carolina State University, she completed a three-year residency program in Radiation Oncology.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Freemyer enjoys quality time with her family and pets, along with interests in travel, painting, gardening, and exploring new restaurants and breweries.
