Maintaining proper oral hygiene
is essential to your pet’s health.

The Dentistry and Oral Surgery Service at CASE is trained and equipped to evaluate genetic and acquired oral diseases and/or conditions that cause discomfort for your pet.

Dental disease is the No. 1 health condition affecting pets today and is often a precursor to many other health problems, including heart and kidney disease. More than 85 percent of dogs and cats over 2 years of age are afflicted with periodontal disease, an infection resulting from a buildup of plaque and tartar around the gum line.

Our Dentist has advanced training in periodontal surgery and treatment, endodontic therapy, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, restorative dentistry, and dental radiology technique and interpretation. The health and comfort of your pet is of utmost importance.

At CASE, we always recommend that you consult with your primary veterinarian should you develop any concerns with your pet’s oral health. Your veterinarian can then recommend a consultation with Dr. Valera Caceras, our Veterinary Dental Associate.
